با توجه به شرایط پیش‌آمده اخیر و به دلیل محدودیت‌های ایجاد شده در ارسال مدارک تحصیلی به WES، این سازمان اعلام کرد به شکل موقت مدارکی که مستقیما از طرف دانشگاه‌ها و به شکل الکترونیکی ارسال می‌شود را خواهد پذیرفت.
در صفحه اول سایت WES آمده است:
Throughout the pandemic, WES has completed thousands of digital credential evaluations and documents. We’ve resumed processing mailed academic documents, too. We continue to encourage institutions to submit secure electronic documents directly to WES.

If your institution would like to email your documents to us, please have them submit a request via our Contact Us form (https://www.wes.org/ca/contact-us/). Have your institution use their information on the form. They will choose the category WES Correspondence/Documents. Then in the body of the message ensure your institution includes their name, the name of person writing in and their role, phone number and email so that we will communicate with your institution to explore possibilities for digital document transmission.
